The Embassy of Italy in Côte d’Ivoire also provides foreign nationals — who hold the nationality of, or are legally resident in, one of the countries within its consular jurisdiction — with a range of essential services to ensure safe and lawful access to Italian territory.
These services include the issuance of visas, in accordance with the Schengen Visa Code (EC Regulation No. 810/2009) and with Italian legislation on national visas (Consolidated Immigration Act, Legislative Decree 286/1998, and its implementing regulation, Presidential Decree 394/1999).
The Consular Section also provides additional services, such as the legalization of foreign documents (as well as certification of conformity to the original of their translations into Italian) and the issuance of the Declarations of Value for foreign educational qualifications and professional titles.
